Mini Match & Dance Fundraiser 2025
Join us on April 26, 2025, for the USA Dance Mini Match & Dance Fundraiser 2025—a dynamic, judgment-free event designed as a "dress rehearsal" for local dancers. This practice competition allows dancers to showcase their talent, gain performance experience, and celebrate dance in a supportive atmosphere.
Organized in partnership by the USA Dance Greater Louisville Chapter 2021 and the duPont Manual High School Latin and Ballroom Club, this unique event not only nurtures artistic expression but also serves as a fundraiser to support the club and its future initiatives.
Purpose
of the Fundraiser
This lively, community-driven event is dedicated to supporting the rising stars of the duPont Manual High School Latin and Ballroom Club. Proceeds will help cover travel expenses and other costs for their inaugural competition this spring, as well as further their ongoing dance pursuits. Join us in empowering these talented young dancers to pursue their dreams and make their mark on the world of dance!
Event Details
Our fundraiser is comprised of two exciting parts: a mini match competition and an evening of dance with live music.
We’d be delighted if you joined us for both!
Mini Match
(Practice Competition)
Time: 1:00 p.m.
Experience a friendly, judgment-free mini match practice competition designed to simulate a real competitive environment. Dancers will perform in front of peers, friends, and family.
The event will feature:
- Different Dance Styles: Performances spanning a variety of dance styles.
- Variety of Ages and Skill Levels: Participants will range across different age groups and dance skill levels.
- Show Performance Numbers: In addition to competitive segments, enjoy dedicated show performance numbers.
This is a wonderful opportunity to compete in a supportive environment or simply enjoy and celebrate the art of dance.
Dance Party
(with Live Music)
Time: 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 pm
Unwind and celebrate at our lively evening dance party, where live music and exceptional dance performances come together to support a great cause. Enjoy a spirited mix of all dance styles, ensuring that everyone—from seasoned dancers to casual movers—can hit the floor and dance at their own pace. The event will feature a live performance by the duPont Manual High School Band, whose dynamic tunes will set the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable night.
As the evening unfolds, the atmosphere will be one of pure enjoyment and social connection. The energy will be contagious, inviting everyone to let loose, interact, and share in the joy of dance. This dance party promises not only a chance to dance but also an opportunity to come together as a community, celebrating talent and supporting local initiatives.

Ticket Prices for Guests
You can find our range of ticket options tailored for both the day and evening events. Tickets can be purchased on-site.
Payments are accepted by cash or check only, and seating for both sessions is limited—available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please refer to the chart below for detailed pricing by category.
Participant Information
Our competition serves as a dress rehearsal and will be conducted without judges, providing a supportive environment for dancers to gain valuable experience. Below are some key details for those interested in participating:
Mini Match Competition
Participation Options
Option 1: Regular Mini Match Dance Entry
- Description: Enter as many dances as you wish, limited to two age groups and two level categories (detailed explanation in the application).
Note: This option does not include a Show Performance Number.

Fee:
- Kids/Teens (up to 18 years): $75
- Adults: $125
(Each fee includes day tickets, evening tickets, pizza party, and mini match participation.)
- Requirement: Participants must be USA Dance members.
Option 2: Show Performance Only
- Description: Submit a show performance entry separate from the mini match rounds. This option is available for individual or group performances.
- Fee: $50 per dance
- Requirement: Participants must purchase day tickets and be USA Dance members.
Option 3: Combined Mini Match and Show Performance
- Description: Participate in the mini match rounds and add a show performance number.
- Fee: The standard mini match fee applies, plus an additional $25 per dance for the Show Performance (number of Show Performances is limited).
- Requirement: All participants must be USA Dance members.
Participant Registration & Affordable Entry
Dancers of all ages—from middle school to seniors—are invited to participate. If you’d like to participate in mini match or perform as a Show Number, please download the registration form from our website, complete it, and submit your entry.
Participation fees are very affordable—just a fraction of the cost of a traditional competition.
Membership Requirement
All participants, whether participating in the mini match or performing in the show dance,
must be members of USA Dance.
There are two ways to become a member:
- Online Registration:
Visit the national USA Dance website and complete the registration process. During registration, ensure you select USA Dance Chapter 2021 as your affiliated local chapter and provide your USA Dance ID number on the entry form.
- Application Form:
Download the membership application, complete it, and attach the required fee. Then, submit the application along with your competition entry to the address provided on the form.
Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure your membership is confirmed prior to the event.
